Does it work on induction?
Yes. The wok has a flat base and the manufacturer rates it for induction, as well as gas, electric coil and ceramic cooktops.
Is it pre-seasoned?
It ships with a light protective oil, not a full seasoning. Seasoning takes about 15 minutes; our step-by-step guide walks you through it.
Is there any coating?
No synthetic nonstick coating (no PTFE). The cooking surface is bare iron that you season with oil.
What size is it?
32 cm (12.6") across the rim and 9.5 cm (3.7") deep – enough for a family stir-fry for 2–4 people.
How heavy is it?
The wok alone ships at about 1.7 kg (3.8 lb). Lighter than cast iron, so you can still toss food.
Which lid should I choose?
The wooden lid is the traditional choice for steaming and braising and absorbs some condensation. The glass lid lets you watch your food. Both fit the 32 cm rim.
Where is it made?
Our woks are made in China by a partner workshop in Zhejiang and ship directly from there.
Can I put it in the dishwasher?
Please don't. Hand wash, dry on the heat and wipe with a little oil.
It's rusting – did I ruin it?
Not at all. Scrub the rust off, dry the wok on the heat and re-oil it. Iron is very forgiving.

Do I pay import charges?
Not in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the EU or the US: taxes and duties are included in our price. In Canada, GST/HST and any duty may be collected by the carrier on delivery. Details on our shipping page.
What if I don't like it?
Changed your mind? Tell us within 14 days of delivery and return it unused (return shipping is paid by you). If it arrives damaged or defective, send us a photo within 14 days and we'll replace or refund it without needing it back. See the refund policy.
